STATE Bags

STATE Bags Website

STATE BAGS has your back. And part of that commitment is making a difference in local kids’ lives. STATE was created to address the immediate needs of American children living with challenging – and in some cases critical – circumstances. For every STATE backpack purchased, STATE hand-delivers one to a child in need; but their commitment goes beyond simply a material donation.

The BAG DROPS are where the real work is done. Their team of “PackMen” and “PackWomen” lead motivational rallies that leave participating kids with a renewed spirit and belief in themselves (not to mention brand new STATE backpacks). Our PACKMEN and PACKWOMEN are experienced child development specialists. Having successfully risen from at-risk neighborhoods themselves, they serve as role models and mentors who deliver a profound message.

STATE Bags is proud to be a Benefit Corporation. Benefit Corporations are companies that create public significance by having a material, positive impact on society.

Helping you help them. Orenda is a blog geared towards promotting Social Entrepreneurial companies (Buy One, Give One, charitable, fair trade, and locally grown companies), trying to make a difference in the world. "Orenda" is an Iroquoian power by which human accomplishment is attained. We want to give people the Orenda to overcome their hard times, or just to give them that push to accomplish great things. We also want Orenda to push buyers to accomplish some change in the world and overcome all of the problems our world faces today.
