We are a week away from Christmas and you know what that means: last-minute shopping. If you’re looking for stocking stuffers or maybe have a teacher in your life, then we have a product for you. If you do not have any more time for free shipping or shipping at all, you can even hop over to Target or their very convenient store pickup sometimes even without leaving your car. There is no better way to Christmas shop than that.
A sad reality, though, is not everyone can shop for Christmas this year. A lot of kids this year may not get a visit for Christmas but there are some ways we can help.
When the millions of students who do not have the ability to buy their own school supplies or gifts can’t, who fits the bill? Teachers.
So what do we do to combat these statistics? Yoobi is definitely a start.
So, in 2014, Yoobi was born to do two big things – make fun colorful stuff that sparks learning and creativity and to donate as many school supplies as we possibly can so all kids can reach their dreams.
Yoobi means “one for you, one for me.” For every Yoobi item you purchase, a Yoobi item will be donated to a classroom in need, right here in the U.S. It’s that simple!
We created Yoobi to make colorful, vibrant tools to spark learning and creativity. Not only did we want to perk up the school supply aisle, but we wanted to help solve a very big problem.
Here is more of their story:
How do they give, you may ask? Well, this is how:
Through their partnership with the Kids in Need Foundation and their network of resource centers, Yoobi classroom packs are distributed to schools in high-need areas all across the country.
Our vision is to one day provide all kids in need with the tools they need to learn and be creative.
According to the Kids in Need Foundation, “Studies show that when kids have new school supplies to call their own, grades and classroom behavior improve, and self-esteem increases.”
Yoobi is helping those kids. To date, Yoobi has impacted over 4 million students from all across the country, in over 137,000 classrooms with over 58 million school supplies.
So, this Christmas, if you have a creative person in your family, a teacher, or just want to do some good this Christmas season, look no further than Yoobi.
